Trinity cares about Elbert, Colorado

Giving back starts in our own community. Our featured project of 2022 is in a little town on the Eastern plains of Colorado called Elbert. With a population of 230, one wouldn’t think of a community center as being of vital importance, however, the Elbert Women’s Club is the anchor of this community as well as the surrounding area. This woman-owned and run nonprofit is a hub of activity for Elbert, Elizabeth and Kiowa. Volunteers show up daily to prepare hot meals for senior citizens. The community center hosts numerous events throughout the year, and offers a place of gathering for many different organizations. This mercantile building, built in 1906, is in desperate need of repairs in order to continue offering the community a place to gather and help others. To date, over $10,000 has been given to the EWC for repairs and we have begun the work! We are hoping to raise the remaining funds and finish the repairs needed for this amazing community center to continue serving others.

An Inside Look at the Trinity Difference

They really were a big help to us. It was a lot of back and forth with the insurance company to determine what exactly was covered and they were a big asset. We were glad to have them on our team for that process.
